ABOUT US
The Strategic Research Center of OSTİM Technical University aims to conduct scientific research, analysis, and assessments on Türkiye’s global, regional, bilateral, and multilateral international relations, encompassing historical, cultural, political, economic, socio-political, legal, sociological, geopolitical, and strategic dimensions. The Center also provides education, organizes conferences, workshops, symposiums, and similar academic events, and prepares or commissions analytical reports when necessary.
The Center conducts regional, national, and global studies on economic policies, development processes, and development models; analyzes industrial production strategies—particularly industrial policies—and examines the impacts of economic planning. It contributes to the development of existing clusters, industrial zones, sectoral value chains, and supply chains. Additionally, it supports the transfer and dissemination of best practices and model applications related to national, regional, and sectoral development, and conducts research to design original development models tailored to emerging needs.
Furthermore, the Center carries out comparative research—including studies on agriculture and service sectors—within the fields of industrial policy and economic development. It provides research resources to scholars, establishes collaborations with public institutions, the private sector, civil society, and professional organizations at both national and international levels, and offers consultancy, guidance, and implementation services.
The Center contributes to the curricula and academic content of undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and continuing education programs, and facilitates international cooperation networks and academic organizations in fields related to industrial policy, economic development, and strategic studies.
